My creative practice is driven by global events. This contextual framework of personal catharsis prevails in my sculptural metal and enamel pieces, as well as jewelry, and is meant as a call to take notice. My recent series reflects the blowback from occurrences metaphorically exemplifying our state of being—the seemingly opposing dynamics of strength vs fragility, durability vs vulnerability, suggesting a need to nurture and protect this dynamic interdependence.
