"My medium is photography. One of my night series, 'On The Platform', explores the relationship between foreground and background, machinery and community, at the horizon line where above-ground subway platforms intersect the environment.
I photograph on platforms from twilight into late night. Acting as photographic architect, I assemble imagery to create new symbolism and realities. Stillness evolves from circumstances of motion and activity. New structures are created, sequential moments in time exist as one. I travel to different cities to explore these themes in different transit systems."
